What?s it about? Social photography and filtering app Instagram gets even cooler with its latest update, which lets you see photos of you taken by others.

What?s cool? By now you're probably familiar with Instagram ? it's a photography app known for its vintage filters that let you make your images look cool, even if you're not much of a photographer. It also packs a few easy editing features, like the ability to crop and add borders, and tilt shift, which lets you make some portions of the photo out of focus while the rest is in focus. Instagram is also all about sharing your photos with others through Facebook, Twitter and the app's on-board social network, and its latest update makes it a little more social, allowing you to tag other people in your photos when you share them. You can also use Instagram to look up photos of yourself that others have taken.

Who?s it for? Photography and social networking fans, Instagram's latest update is aimed straight at you.

What?s it like? Facebook offers similar functionality with its app (which makes sense, since Facebook now owns Instagram), and Cymera packs more photo-filtering capabilities.

What?s it about? WeatherBug is full of information about the weather, as you might guess, and makes navigating through it easy and convenient.

What?s cool? Packing lots of forecast information that lets you find out about the weather wherever you are, WeatherBug is a great resource for planning your week or even just keeping up on what to expect. It includes all the usual, like seven-day forecasts, and has more interesting features to boot, like interactive weather maps and radar data to help you see how things are changing in the moment. There are also forecasts geared to specific activities to help you figure out the best days and times for doing them. WeatherBug's new update includes a big new redesign with a new slide navigation system and a new look to make getting all your weather info easier.

Who?s it for? Anybody who could use easy-to-find weather data is the target audience for WeatherBug.

What?s it about? Bejeweled Blitz brings the classic match-3 gameplay of Bejeweled into a fast-action atmosphere, challenging you to make as many matches as you can in 60 seconds.

What?s cool? Playing Bejeweled Blitz is like playing a bite-sized version of Bejeweled in 60-second increments, but with one particular difference from the usual versions of the game: it's geared at competing against your friends on Facebook. You can log your best scores and challenge friends to see what they're able to accomplish in the same period of time, and you can also unlock different power-ups to strengthen your game as well.

Who?s it for? Fans of Bejeweled who like to rub their friends' noses in their scores should check out Bejweled Blitz.
