All the football, tennis and rugby action can now be enjoyed onboard
The holiday duo of Cunard and P&O Cruises have scored a big win with the news that both firms will be offering passengers the chance to enjoy a 24-hour live sports channel onboard.
The new Sport 24 broadcast platform is being rolled out across the companies? fleets and is sure to prove popular with fans of grand slam tennis and Premier League football.
Both of these sports will be broadcast on the channel along with the latest rugby action from the British and Lions Rugby Tour and Formula One motorsportchampionship.
The new channel is being produced and distributed by global sports and fashion company IMG Media and will be delivered by the MTN-TV satellite system.
It will be broadcast in all public bars and lounges on seven P&O liners and three Cunard vessels.
Cunard and P&O Cruises executive vice-president operations, David Noyes, said:"We want to make sure our passengers don?t miss out on any of the sporting golden moments that 2013 and beyond has in store for us."
