11:35 a.m. update: Series of quakes jolt rural Northern California, no damage

FORTUNA? There are no damage reports after of earthquakes jolted rural areas of Northern California near the Oregon border.

A U.S. Geological Survey computer generated report says the strongest shaker, a magnitude 4.3 quake struck at 4:53 a.m. today and was centered 10 miles south of Fortuna. The area is about 270 miles northwest of Sacramento.

Since then another 4.0 magnitude quake, as well as a 3.2 and a 3.3 magnitude quakes all struck in almost the same location.

Fortuna police dispatcher Tanya Kadle says she felt a quick jolt.

She says there have been no reports of damage or injury.
