The city of Albuquerque is preparing for? it's super Summerfest event, a huge New Mexico Centennial celebration on Saturday , June 16.
The exciting and free event will overtake Central Avenue downtown from 2nd to 10th street.
Visitors can take advantage of the day long celebration of arts, dance, music, cuisine, science, technology and the fun atmosphere of old Route 66.
There will also be a free concert by the popular California group, Los Lobos.
In addition, guests can expect to see an art show, featured displays on the Atomic Age, as well as a World Stage featuring performances from different cultural groups.
